Position Summary:
Cleaning of Tommy Nobis Center Main Campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Vacuum offices, hallways, conference rooms, and all carpeted areas
as needed or at least weekly.
- Vacuum mats near doorways as needed or at least weekly.
- Sanitize and clean breakroom tables, counters, sinks, and
microwaves daily
- Disinfect daily all high touch areas as identified
- Spot clean breakroom after break times and lunch breaks.
- Damp mopping of halls, breakrooms and all other tiled areas weekly
- Dust mopping of halls, breakrooms and common areas daily
- Stock all bathrooms with supplies every morning and check and
re-stock mid-day
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms each morning, and re-check midday
- Empty trash from offices each Tuesday and Thursday or as requested
- Empty trash from breakroom and common areas daily as to avoid
leaving trash containing food overnight
- Cleaning other areas as assigned.
- Washing windows as needed.
- Wipe down walls as needed.
- Clean up unexpected spills by using universal precautions standards.
- Monitor janitorial supplies and create an order list for manager
on a weekly basis
- Alert manager to any maintenance needs.
- Load / Unload and operate dishwasher as needed
- Dust areas as determined
- Maintain parking lot and landscaped area of the property free from
trash and debris
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to maintain a good attendance record.
Experience Desirable:
- Janitorial experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently.
- Dependable.
Special Skills/Abilities:
Interpersonal: Relate to a variety of clients and staff.
Written Communications: Ability to use basic writing skills
to keep an inventory log.
Oral Communications: Ability to speak English
Equipment Ability to use vacuum and other janitorial
equipment as needed.
Other Qualifications or Requirements:
Mental Effort: Ability to work independently and successfully
coordinate the activities of the job.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and
ability to withstand strenuous activity. Must be able to stand for
extended periods of time.
Working Conditions:Office, breakroom and common areas
Visual Effort: Well-lighted office/warehouse environment
requiring an average amount of visual effort.
